The Client: Academic Associates approached us to design a logo for Indian International School (IIS) at Kampala in Uganda.
The Brief: The main objective was to establish the brand and promote an Indian curriculum school overseas. Besides this, the logo had to lay the foundation of the school as an ideal place for all-round development.
The Logo Design: Based on this brief, we had to create not only a strong brand communication, but also highlight the values, principles and cultural ethics of the school for students. Based on research with Indian families residing in Uganda, we realized there was a need for a nurturing world-class learning environment offering a CBSE board. Thus, the brand logo showcased strength, courage and knowledge as power. We strategically focused on promoting an all-round learning environment where students are encouraged to think out of the box and are not passive listeners.
